Ross currently works for Riverside Christian College, Maryborough, as College Chaplain (started 2011). This combined with his love for the outdoors and natural environments has led to the creation of CrossTrek and working with young people utilising the outdoors as the classroom for learning and personal development. Ross has a passion for, and experience in, Outdoor Education/Recreation and has been a leader/facilitator on many Outdoor Ed camps and workshops. Ross has studied Leisure Management at Griffith University, has a Diploma in Biblical Studies, a Certificate IV in Outdoor Recreation (Instructor for Archery, Instructor for Bushwalking) and a Certificate IV Training & Assessment and is currently being delivering the Cert 2 in Outdoor Recreation at Riverside Christian College. During this time he has been involved with running weekly youth programs within his local community that build leadership, resilience and well being. Ross has worked with Youth, Children and their Families on a regular basis since 1996 in his capacity as Camp Leader, School Chaplain, Youth Pastor, Assistant Pastor, Committee Member of the Marsden Group and casual Youth Support Officer. CrossTrek operates programs for Youth Support, Environmental Education, Outdoor Recreation, Adventure Based Counselling, Wilderness Therapy, Youth Development and Mentoring, Duke of Edinburgh Awards, YouthTrek-Strength Honour Service, Leadership Development and Team Facilitation. CrossTrek is a Social Enterprise with a focus on Youth Support, Outdoor Recreation and Environmental Education.
